9jil Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by 9jil ("9jil," "we," "us," "our"), the operator of the online gaming platform accessible at 9jil.asia ("the Platform"). 9jil acts as the Personal Information Controller as defined under Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines ("DPA"), with respect to all personal data collected through the Platform.

9jil does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing or commercial purposes. Your data may be shared only in the following circumstances:

9jil engages third-party service providers who process personal data on 9jil's behalf and under 9jil's instruction, subject to appropriate data processing agreements. These include:

• KYC and identity documents: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years following the end of the business relationship, as required by applicable Philippine AML regulations;
• Transaction records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction;
• Support communications: Retained for two (2) years from the date of the last interaction, unless required for longer periods in connection with an ongoing dispute;
• Marketing preferences and consent records: Retained for the duration of your account plus an additional three (3) years.

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data will be securely deleted or anonymized so that it can no longer be associated with you as an individual. Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and platform improvement purposes.

9jil employs a layered approach to personal data security, implementing technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Key security controls include:

While 9jil implements comprehensive security measures, no online platform can guarantee absolute security against all threats. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own login credentials and for notifying 9jil immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

9jil uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the 9jil.asia platform to facilitate core functionality, improve user experience, and support security and fraud prevention operations. The following types of cookies are used:

These cookies are essential to the operation of the 9jil platform and cannot be disabled. They are used for: maintaining your login session, storing your wallet balance display preferences, enabling game loading, and remembering your language settings. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies as they are required for the platform to function.

If 9jil discovers or is notified that personal data has been collected from a person under the age of 21, the following steps will be taken immediately:

• The account will be permanently suspended;
• All data associated with the underage account will be deleted as soon as legally permissible;
• Any funds deposited by the underage user will be forfeited in accordance with the 9jil Terms & Conditions;
• The incident will be documented internally for compliance purposes.

Parents and guardians who believe their minor child has registered on the 9jil platform are encouraged to contact 9jil support immediately via in-platform live chat or by emailing the support address listed in Section 14.

9jil's primary data processing operations are conducted within or for the benefit of the Philippine market. However, certain service providers engaged by 9jil — including game software studios, security vendors, and cloud infrastructure providers — may process personal data in jurisdictions outside the Philippines.

Where such cross-border transfers occur, 9jil ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

• Contractual data processing agreements incorporating data protection obligations equivalent to those required under the DPA;
• Transfer only to jurisdictions or entities that provide an adequate level of protection for personal data;
• Limitation of the data transferred to the minimum necessary for the service being provided.

By using the 9jil platform, you acknowledge that your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the Philippines as described in this section.

The 9jil platform integrates certain third-party services necessary for platform operation, including payment processors (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, USDT TRC20, Coins.ph), identity verification providers, and certified game studios. Your interactions with these third-party services — including any personal data you provide directly to them — are governed by those parties' own privacy policies, which are separate from and independent of this Policy.

9jil is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services. Where a third-party service processes your personal data as a 9jil service provider, it does so under a data processing agreement that requires it to protect your data in a manner consistent with this Policy.

9jil reserves the right to amend, update, or revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law, or regulatory guidance. Material changes — meaning changes that significantly affect how we process your personal data or your rights under this Policy — will be communicated to registered players via:
